  • If, as you say, it is about "who can be forced to pay for it" then I don't see the issue at all. The cost of birth control is far less than the cost of a pregnancy. By not covering birth control the insurance plan would be forcing me (or my employer) to pay higher premiums.

  • This is an example of why the death penalty is wrong. It requires by perfection by the state. Memories are not perfect, police are not perfect, juries are not perfect and judges are not perfect.

  • I run and we've never yet paid employees with income tax reductions. We pay employees with revenue generated by sales. I'll be happy if the government cuts my taxes but I won't hire anyone because of it. What I need are more customers and a citizenry worried about jobs holds back on spending.

  • Many things are available I would not allow my children to use. It's the parent's decision to control what their kids wear.

  • While I would agree that the "right wing" doesn't want the economy to get any worse and have more people lose their homes, I wish the "right wing" would at least face the fact that it bears a significant share of the responsibility for causing this mess in the first place.
